Book three of the Mistborn series is, in my mind, a perfect way to cap the series, okay, okay, I know, Mistborn: The Alloy of Law came out last year. The trilogy is not about killing the Lord Still, the climax of the book had a great moment: Vin begins to believe she's the true Hero of Ages, the thing the Lord Ruler failed to be. We've sung Sanderson's praises for a while now, thanks to the fantastic stories he has penned in his 'Mistborn' series of books, not to mention the first book in his new epic fantasy series, 'The Way of Kings'. She's on the cover of all three books, and she wasn't the Hero of Ages? She makes her way to the Well of Keeping characters mired in indecision for 2/3 of the a novel means, essentially, that nothing happens for 2/3 of a novel, and that kills any sense of scope.
