It seems he is comparing the Sworn Book of Honorius against the Grimoire of Pope Honorius III. They are complementary grimoires, The Black Dragon draws heavily on the 1760 (1810) Grimoire of Honorius, which is significantly different to the 1670 edition and the earlier 13th century Sworn Book of Honorius (Liber Juratus) which is an ancestor in title alone. Crossed keys is a chimeric binding of both The Black Dragon and the Enchiridion of Pope Leo III in a fresh translation by grimoire magician Michael Cecchetelli. There's an old tome known as The Grimoire of Pope Honorius that's all about black magic and demons and shit. I have not read the Sworn Book, but it sounds interesting. The Grimoire of Honorius is full of Book III continues with a discussion on the magical tools, inks, incense, perfumes, robes and metals, which are related to the planets.
